Revenues from video-on-demand transactions in France rose more than 50% last year to an estimated $302 million, while sales of DVD such as  and Blu-ray discs fell 9% to an estimated $1.65 billion.Overall, the market for DVD, Blu-ray and VOD dropped 3% to $1.9 million, but Blu-ray like  sales increased in volume by 20% to 10 million units sold, according to a study conducted by French video such as  org Syndicat de l'Edition Video Numerique, and market research company GFK.
